Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo sends message to management
By Dave Daniels
Will the Greek Freak seek a new team once his contract runs its course?
Giannis Antetokounmpo signed a four-year extension with the Milwaukee Bucks that started during this season and pays out over $100 million in that span. But is he already thinking about the next time free agency will arrive?
According to NBA Reddit, the Greek Freak had this to say recently about upper management.
"“The front office and the general manager have to do their work too… If I do my part and some others don’t, then a change would have to happen… If this change does not happen, then, the Bucks can move forward without me, or I can move on without the Bucks.”"
The Bucks need Antetokounmpo on board to win a championship, and they are knocking on that door this year.
The Greek Freak has been in the news a lot lately. He was featured during the “60 Minutes” episode that included adult film star Stormy Daniels. Also, he can be seen trading headers with former NBA star Steve Nash here. Those are two dudes with a world of athletic talent at their disposal.
Obviously, the Bucks would love to keep Antetokounmpo around, but that might not be up to them. If they achieve team success, then it will be much more likely. But it would be understandable for him to take meetings once this current contract runs out.

The firing of former Bucks head coach Jason Kidd stands out here, because that was the man who ultimately decided that Antetokounmpo could basically play point guard for the team. Was he consulted before his head coach was canned? If not, then that might have been the start of some bad blood. Here is hoping that he plays out his career with the Bucks, but they need to figure this out before Milwaukee is a lottery dweller once again.
