5 potential trade destinations for Rob Gronkowski
1. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams won the NFC West last year, but they are not resting on their laurels this offseason. If trades to upgrade the secondary (Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib) and the signing of Ndamukong Suh to pair with Aaron Donald weren’t enough, they’ve most recently been mentioned as a prominent trade suitor for Odell Beckham Jr.
There’s enough smoke to think there’s fire behind the Rams making a deal for Beckham. The Giants may simply be done dealing with the headaches he brings, but it will take a significant offer to get a trade done for a player with his talent.
Gronkowski is alongside Beckham as a big fish potentially available in a trade. But Los Angeles is reportedly willing to part with multiple first-round picks for Beckham, obviously including the No. 23 pick this year, so the same offer could be made to the Patriots if talks on a Beckham deal head toward a dead-end.

Adding both Beckham and Gronkowski would be huge for the Rams, but it’s not going to happen due to the salary cap and having enough trade capital to pull off both moves. Gronkowski is not any sort of consolation prize in most scenarios. But if the Rams don’t pull the trigger on a pursuit of Beckham, a pivot to fill a more obvious need with the best tight end in the league has to be on the radar.
