Arsenal are sixth in the Premier League but would need a miracle to move into the top four. On Sunday, Arsenal host Stoke at Emirates Stadium. Stoke are in the middle of a relegation zone, sitting 19th with seven games remaining.

The Gunners have struggled lately in the Premier League, winning only three of their last eight games. However, after eliminating AC Milan in the Europa League, Arsenal might turn their focus to winning that competition as their way into the Champions League next season. Arsene Wenger remade his team during the winter break, shipping out Alexis Sanchez and bringing in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Aubameyang has scored three goals in his first five games for Arsenal. However, Wenger has struggled to find a way to fit, Aubameyang, prized summer signing Alexandre Lacazette on the field at the same time.

Stoke have had a disastrous 2018, winning only one game and picking up seven points in their last 10 games. The Potters have been better under Paul Lambert, who has helped the club improve defensively. Under Mark Hughes, Stoke allowed 50 goals in their first 23 games. In eight games under Lambert, the Potters have allowed only eight goals. However, Stoke have not good enough to pull themselves out of the relegation zone. Stoke are three points behind the safety zone, however, they have played one more game than the majority of teams they are chasing. The Potters have scored only 29 goals and have depended heavily on Xherdan Shaqiri and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who have combined for 12 goals and 11 assists this season
