Both Burnley and Leicester are in no danger of relegation this late in the season. The Clarets are firmly in the top half of the table in seventh place, which would easily be their highest Premier League finish in their history. Sean Dyche has molded his team to be extremely hard to beat, which has been more than enough to keep them in the top half for most of the season. Burnley are in good form at the moment as well, winning their last four matches. While the rest of the season is basically a formality at this point, Burnley will still be fighting for every point.
Leicester had a rocky start to the season that eventually turned out to be a comfortable end with Claude Puel as the manager. The Foxes sit in eighth place in the table, six points behind Burnley. Leicester has looked more stable under Puel than any other manager since Claudio Ranieri miraculously won the Premier League. They, too, are in no-mans land at the moment, not threatening either a European spot nor relegation, but it’s possible to still finish above Burnley with six matches to play. That would bode well for next season, at the least.
