The Bucks nearly upset the Celtics in Game 1 of their first round playoff series. Khris Middleton’s buzzer-beating heave sent the game into overtime, where Milwaukee ultimately fell short. The Bucks might still rebound and beat the short-handed Celtics, but even if they do it would be hard to call this year a success.

Milwaukee finished the regular season a disappointing 44-38 with a negative point differential. This happened despite trading a future first round pick to acquire Eric Bledsoe. Head coach Jason Kidd was let go and little has changed on offense or defense under interim coach Joe Prunty. The #WeOwnTheFuture optimism has faded, and many Bucks fans are jaded about a franchise featuring a 23-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo. How did we get here?

To help shed light on the psyche of the tortured Bucks fan, Ti Windisch (@tiwindisch) joins the latest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast. What does he wish the team would do differently? What are his dreams for the future? Will beating the Celtics help his mood at all?
