The Philadelphia Eagles were not supposed to win the Super Bowl, especially when Carson Wentz blew out his knee in Week 13. However, they had a stellar backup in Nick Foles, who played out of his mind during the playoffs. In fact, when all was said and done, Foles had been named Most Valuable Player of the Super Bowl, after shredding the New England Patriots secondary.

As they head into next season, Foles will likely start the season as the starter, as Wentz was hurt so late in the year in 2017. On the defensive side of the ball,Ā  they could use some help in the pass rush, and Marcus Davenport is one of the best in this draft class at doing just that. He is going to be a first round pick on Thursday, and the Eagles would be very lucky if he falls to them with the final pick of round one.
