Here is the biggest game on the regular season schedule for each NFL team in 2018.

No month goes by without something on the NFL calendar. Now, prior to the draft, the release of the regular season schedule has become an event to be broken down meticulously on television.

The 2018 opponents for each NFL team are known, so all that’s left is for the weekly slate to be organized and announced. Week 17 will feature nothing but matchups within each division, which narrows down that group of games down quite a bit.

Fans of course eat up the NFL schedule release, after which it becomes easy to run down wins and losses for their favorite team and arrive at what’s sure to be an overly optimistic record. Knowing who will be playing prime time games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights is of note too.

Here is the biggest game on the 2018 schedule for each NFL team.

Arizona Cardinals: vs. Los Angeles Rams

Either game against the defending NFC West champions would qualify here, but I’ll lean toward a home game being bigger for the Cardinals.

The Rams outscored the Cardinals 65-16 in the two games last year, with a 33-0 shutout in Los Angeles and a 32-16 victory in the desert, while averaging 364 yards of offense per game to Arizona’s 250.5. Any chance to make this year’s games against the Rams more competitive, let alone win one or both, will rest on the statistical gap narrowing significantly.
