The far and away choice for the first slot here is the ultra-entertaining head coach of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Mike Gundy. Since taking over following the end of the Les Miles tenure in Stillwater, OK, Gundy made for some great interviews, on the field performances, and marketing stunts.

Last year, the thing that made Gundy famous was his mullet that became known as an “Arkansas Waterfall” during an interview with ESPN’s NHL analyst Barry Melrose. He also did a wrestling promo for the Pokes in a singlet, sipping out of his giant coffee mug that reads “big daddy”.

This off-season is sure to have more memorable moments from Gundy coming out of Stillwater. Oklahoma State isn’t in as much of a spotlight this year considering the departure of star quarterback Mason Rudolph and All-American wide receiver James Washington, both to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2018 NFL Draft.

This quarterback competition for Oklahoma State could garner more interesting moments from Gundy. However, we might have to wait until the start of Big 12 Media Days or the start of the regular season itself to get the most out of the man who is now 50.
