Paul George took to Twitter to announce his offseason plans and his intentions are clear. He’s definitely staying in Oklahoma City.

While the NBA world was focused on Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday night, Paul George quietly announced that he would be returning to the Oklahoma City Thunder next season.

Notice the jersey? It’s orange and blue, not purple and gold. It looks pretty familiar.

This is all the proof we need that George is returning to Oklahoma City. Magic Johnson can move on to losing out on LeBron James before backing up the Brinks truck for Isaiah Thomas. George has made his intentions clear. Any talk of him going elsewhere should be reported as tampering.

The Thunder forward will be in Los Angeles later this month to take part in the Fortnite celebrity pro-am. Don’t get excited, Lakers fans. He’ll be there to play Fortnite and do nothing else.

Along with announcing his decision to stay in Oklahoma City, George is hinting at a gaming announcement at Dreamhack 18. The touring gaming convention is currently taking place in Austin, Texas and runs through June 3. Could a PG13 mobile game be on the way? Is he going to work a second job as a professional gamer? Is “PG13 LVL UP” the superstar Mario version of Playoff P? Who knows. But he can’t focus on his video games if he’s in Los Angeles. Too many distractions. There’s nothing to do in Oklahoma City except eat, sleep, and play video games. Maybe catch a movie. I assume there are movie theaters in Oklahoma City, although that’s never been proven.

All the evidence adds up. Paul George is 100 percent returning to the Thunder and the offseason just got a little more boring.
