Amidst much speculation about Daniel Bryan’s future with WWE, he is advertised for a mega-show in Australia on Oct. 6 — after his contract is rumored to expired.
There’s been much speculation about whether or not Daniel Bryan will be staying with WWE as his current deal with the company is rumored to expire September 2018. However, it’s come to light that WWE is now advertising Daniel Bryan for an Australia mega-show that’s taking place on Oct. 6. The showing also advertises big wrestling names such as John Cena, Ronda Rousey, Shawn Michaels, and even the Undertaker.
Keep in mind that this does not confirm that Bryan will be sticking around with WWE for the remainder year, however, one must wonder if WWE is doing everything in their power to try to secure Bryan as much as they can. There’s no doubt that Bryan is considered one of the biggest current stars in wrestling today. So even if WWE doesn’t have plans for Bryan as of right now, there’s at least some value into keeping him around long-term.
It’s worth noting as well that not too long-ago that WWE executive Triple H was expressing his worries over losing Daniel Bryan during an interview with ESPN. However, he explained that his concerns where more over his health and well-being if he were to go wrestle somewhere else.

“Part of me was so afraid in the period of time when it [was] all going down that he was going to walk and say ‘forget it’ and go wrestle for someone else that doesn’t care, that doesn’t take their health into consideration,” Triple H explained via ESPN. “Because that’s pretty much everywhere else , and risk his life and his health and his family and his baby and risk all of it.”
