Will Nneka Ogwumike (above) play in today’s game against the Las Vegas Aces?

4pm – MIN @ DAL

The Lynx are on a 6 game winning streak and have kept their last 4 opponents in check defensively. They haven’t give up more than 80 points in a game since 6/19, the last time they played Dallas. The Lynx won that game 91-83 at home.

Key players

Slyvia Fowles – The Wings give up 4.9 blocks per game. She is the most expensive player on both sites today but I have no problem paying up for her on this slate.

Liz Cambage – I don’t feel as secure playing Cambage today as I usually do. She has been shooting the ball well lately, but her shot attempts are also trending down. Due to matchup today I won’t have much exposure to her.

Maya Moore – Has been a solid cash game option all year and good GPP play lately as well. Her price has come up a little bit recently but it’s worth the safety her floor provides cash lineups.

Skylar Diggins-Smith – I like Diggins-Smith more than Cambage today. That said, her price is a little high though compared to some of the other options at guard today. I will have very little exposure to her in my lineups.

Value Picks: Seimone Augustus (FD) Danielle Robinson (DK)

5pm – LV @ LA

The Aces upset the Sparks Friday 98-74 in a stunning defeat. Rookie A’ja Wilson had 29 points and 9 rebounds for the Aces. Even with Fridays loss the Sparks are huge point favorites today, a spread I don’t think they will cover. They will be rested this time, but without Ogwumike I like the Aces to win this game again.

Key Players

A’Ja Wilson – Has crushed value in 4 out her last 5 games.  If Ogwumike misses again Wilson will be one of my favorite plays on the slate. Either way I will have a fair amount of exposure to her.

Candace Parker – I will be fading Parker today. I am more interested in some of the value plays for LA today. It will be important to keep an eye out for any injury news today on Ogwumike.

Chelsea Gray – She could be a sneaky play today. She hasn’t been afraid to shoot the ball recently, and the matchup is good on paper. I will try to fit her into a few of my lineups.

Value Picks:  Kelsey Plum (FD)  Riquna Williams (DK)

5pm – ATL @ IND

I won’t have much exposure to this game. Two low scoring teams, one efficient defense (ATL), and not much value to be found on the bench on either side. Wake me up when this dream is over.

Key Players

Angel McCoughtry – She has only played around 20 minutes her last 2 games. The return of Tiffany Hayes and Elizabeth Williams could open up more looks for her today, but I am not willing to put too much stock in her today.

Candice Dupree – Hasn’t been consistent enough for cash, doesn’t have enough upside for GPPs. I will be fading her today.

Tiffany Hayes – On Friday she played 12 minutes in her first game back from injury. Her price is tempting today, and the Dream need a win to keep the surging Chicago Sky off their heels. I expect her to get about 25 minutes, but there are better options in the price range on the slate. Fade.

Value picks:  Elizabeth Williams (FD & DK)

6pm – NY @ CHI

Another revenge game featuring 2 teams that just played each other. The Sky won the last game 103-99.  The Liberty are looking to snap a 5 game losing streak. The Sky are looking for their 4th win in a row. I don’t expect the point total to be as high when these two teams meet again today.

Key Players

Tina Charles – Until we see some defensive stats  and rebounding out of Charles I am not willing to pay up for her on her scoring ability alone.  Her floor isn’t safe enough for cash and her rarely puts up a good GPP game. Sorry Tina I am going to have to fade you today.

Stefanie Dolson – Is my favorite mid-tier forward on the slate. She should play about 30 minutes again. She doesn’t offer much GPP upside but it a good addition to your cash lineup today.

Courtney Vandersloot – I was off of Vandersloot all season, but she is starting to attract my attention recently. She has played well in her last 3 games, but  price is still a too high for me (especially on DK)  to have much exposure to her.

Value Picks: Kia Vaughn (FD &DK)

7pm – CON @ SEA

The Suns have been great at home this year, going 5-1, road games have been more of a struggle for them though. They are 4-5 away from home this season, and have only two games out of their last 6 since Alyssa Thomas went down with a shoulder injury.  Both of those wins came against Indiana, the worst team in the league. Seattle is one game behind Phoenix in the West and 7-3 at home this year. My money is on Seattle.

Key Players

Breanna Stewart – Everybody knows how much I like Stewart. She has one of the safest floors and the highest ceilings of any player in the WNBA.

Jewell Loyd – Not willing to pay up for her today on Fanduel. Her price on DraftKings is a little more appealing, but I would rather save a few bucks and play Sue Bird.

Chiney Ogwumike – Chi Chi is one of my favorite WNBA players, but I don’t play her too often. She is a decent cash game option, but may have a tough time getting boards against a Seattle team that rebounds well.

Sue Bird – Has been a great cash game option. Her assists are way up recently, her minutes are solid and she has had 8 steals in her last 4 games. Bird and Kayla McBride are my favorite mid-tier guards on the slate.

Value Picks: Alysha Clark (FD) Alex Bentley (DK)

Good luck!
