Manny Pacquiao vs. Lucas Matthysse won’t be televised, but it will be streamed. Here’s how to catch all the action.

Manny Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 KOs) and Lucas Matthysse’s (39-4, 36 KOs) best days are behind them, but they are still top-notch boxers. Matthysse puts his WBA welterweight title on the line in what should be an exciting and intriguing matchup.

Pacquiao and Matthysse fight on Saturday, July 14, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is 12 hours ahead on American eastern time, so the fight will happen on July 15 in Malaysia, but will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. ET in the states.

Top Rank is promoting the fight in association with Manny Pacquiao’s MP Promotions. The fight will not be broadcast on American TV, but it will be streamed through ESPN+ on the ESPN app.

If you haven’t subscribed to ESPN+ you can take part in a 7-day free trial. You can subscribe to ESPN+ on their website, or you can download the ESPN app on your smartphone and join there. ESPN+ costs $4.99 per month once your 7-day trial ends.

Before the Pacquiao/Matthysse bout, ESPN will televise Regis Prograis vs. Juan Velasco for the interim WBC lightweight title. It will air on the same day at 7:00 p.m. ET. They will be sure to advertise the Pacquiao/Matthysse bout during their television bout to maximize new ESPN+ subscriptions.

Pacquiao lost his last bout to Jeff Horn in 2017. He hasn’t fought in a year, and he desperately needs a win if he wants to continue on with his career.

Matthysse is riding a 2-fight winning streak. He won the WBA welterweight title in his last fight. He knocked out Tewa Kiram in the eighth to win the title.
