Here are all the details you need to watch BMX street at X Games Minneapolis 2018.

The X Games are a time-honored tradition in the world of extreme sports. When the X Games were founded in 1995, BMX was a staple event. BMX began on the dirt and on the vert ramp and has since branched out to the street park, best trick and Big Air. This summer, the X Games are returning to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for another year of high flying fun and radical action. Fans will be able to catch the action beginning Thursday, July, 19 all the way through Sunday, July 22.

BMX street has a long history of entertaining fans with crazy tricks and even bigger personalities. Since Dave Mirra won his first X Games gold medal in BMX street back in 1996, athletes have been ramping up the style and the technicality of their tricks.

Some of the big names that will be competing of the street course this year are Simone Barraco, Devon Smillie, Dakota Roche and Garrett Reynolds.

Reynolds was last year’s X Games BMX street gold medalist. He is 28 years old and hails from Toms River, New Jersey. He has won a total of 10 X Games gold medals in the past 10 years. Reynolds is the BMX Street gold medal hopeful again this year, showing  no signs of slowing down.
