The Washington Capitals’ Stanley Cup celebrations will go down in history, and few are living this up as hard as T.J. Oshie.

In the wake of the Stanley Cup win, each of the Washington Capitals has been granted one day with the Cup. Ovi celebrated in high fashion with his wife, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Dmitry Orlov… complete with a rotating Ovi cake and caviar. Jakub Vrana paraded the cup around Prague, and even got a surprise visit from Andre Burakovsky.

But even without the Cup in his possession, it seems like T.J. Oshie hasn’t stopped living his best life. He wowed audiences at the American Century Championship golf tournament by both sinking a putt while drinking from a beer helmet and teeing off to “We are the Champions” before downing a beer in his now classic pose.

Needless to say, Caps fans everywhere were expecting a great day when the Cup finally made it into Oshie’s hands.

He did not disappoint.

Oshie began the day by eating Cap’n Crunch right out of the Cup. Such a simple gesture, but when you have the Cup, there are no limits. Here’s to hoping whoever cleans the Cup really likes Oshie, as caviar/beer/party flavored Cap’n Crunch does not sound like a good time.

The Cup then travelled to Warroad, Minnesota where he reunited the Cup with his father, and brought it to his high school rink, The Gardens Arena.

The Oshies were also surprised when Warroad Mayor, Bob Marvin, announced that July 24 would officially be named “T.J. Oshie Day”.

But alas, no T.J. Oshie day would be quite complete without a few shenanigans. After taking a properly adorable picture with his wife and two daughters, Oshie ended his day by bringing the Cup to Minneapolis to round out the night partying with fellow teammates Shane Gersich and Travis Boyd.

Gersich was assisted by Oshie in a keg stand rounding out a great Oshie day. The Cup has yet to make it to more than a few of the Capitals, so there is a guarantee that more great photos and moments will come from this offseason.
