BIG3’s Championship game is upon us with Power taking on 3’s Company for ultimate glory as Tri-State and 3 Headed Monsters vie for a third place finish.

Power more than resembles a roster for the L.A. Clippers with Corey Maggette (Captain), Cuttino Mobley (co-Captain), Glen “Big Baby” Davis (co-Captain), Quentin “Q-Rich” Richardson, and Ryan Gomes. Not to mention Long Beach, California native Chris “Birdman” Anderson, really makes you wonder why those Clippers weren’t more successful playoff wise. They were always bursting with talent. The squad which includes former Celtic Xavier Silas and 2018 Coach of the Year / Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman is the favorite to take the BIG3’s championship at Barclays Center. Power has been dominating the standings at the #1 seed spot all year, and Captain Corey Maggette was just named BIG3 MVP, you just know he’ll want to make good on the award and absolutely trounce 3’s Company for victory.

On 3’s Company you have one of the game’s greatest all-time point guards in Baron Davis (co-Captain), who was also once a Clipper but most remembered for his Warriors/Hornets days. Though B-Diddy was injured mid-season, 4th Man of the Year Andre Emmett was poised to make sure the season would not go down in vain and has helped boost them to this season’s Finals game. NBA fans will recognize DerMarr Johnson (Captain), Drew Gooden, Dahntay Jones, Jason Maxiell, and coach Michael Cooper known for his championship winning days on the showtime Lakers.

Meanwhile, Tri-State will likely get a special welcome from the crowd for former Knicks stars Amar’e Stoudemire (Co-Captain) and Nate Robinson, Pacer’s franchise player Jermaine O’Neal (Captain), and Trail Blazers/Kings’ Bonzi Wells, David Hawkins, Robert Hite and Coach Dr. J, Julius Erving. Their opponent, 3 Headed Monsters, are led by Rashard Lewis (Captain), Reggie Evans (co-Captain), Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (co-Captain), Jamario Moon, Kwame Brown, Salim Stoudamire, Qyntel Woods, and Coach Gary Payton. Payton was voted Best Trash Talker this year!
