NBA Playoffs 2019: Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers Game 1 live stream: Watch online
By Ian Levy
The Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series. Here’s how to watch this game online via live streaming.
The Warriors will begin their quest for a fourth championship in five years with a first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers and Saturday primetime slot for Game 1.
With some moments of friction and the shadow of Kevin Durant’s presumed exit in free agency this summer, the Warriors look more vulnerable than they have in the past. But on paper, they’re as strong as ever. Golden State edged out Houston by a tenth of a point for the most efficient offense in the league. If there is a weakness it may be at the defensive end where they didn’t play with the same fire this season and ranked 11th in defensive efficiency.
Still, the Warriors have three of the best shooters in NBA history, DeMarcus Cousins as a wild card and more than enough offensive firepower to overwhelm anyone in the league.
The Clippers snuck into the playoffs despite trading their best player, Tobias Harris, at the deadline. They’ve been led by a career-year from Danilo Gallinari, the second-unit chemistry of Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell and incredible depth up and down the rotation. They will give the Warriors all they can handle but will face a fairly wide talent deficit at the top.
