The Denver Nuggets appear to be peaking and now have a chance to eliminate the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 6. Here’s all the information you need to watch.

The Denver Nuggets have definitely faced adversity in these playoffs, going to seven games in the first round against the San Antonio Spurs and dropping Games 2 and 3 to the Trail Blazers in the second. But each time a challenge has come up, they have responded with resiliency, which is why they have a chance to eliminate the Trail Blazers in Game 6 and punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals.

Nikola Jokic has been the best player in this series and, arguably the entire playoffs. He’s averaging 26.4 points, 14.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game, on a 61.9 true shooting percentage. With Enes Kanter banged up, and presenting a fairly shaky defensive baseline to begin with, the Blazers have been forced to try Al-Farouq Aminu, Zach Collins and Meyers Leonard on Jokic. None have been able to slow him down.

If Portland is to stave off elimination, they’ll need a heroic effort from Damian Lillard. He’s still been putting up big point totals but hasn’t shot particularly well from the 3-point line or been able to deliver the momentum-changing plays he did in Portland’s first-round win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Winning two straight to advance is a serious task and there’s no way they can do it without him making special plays.
