DraftKings PGA: 2019 WGC St. Jude Picks

Justin Rose 9,500

Rose is playing extremely consistent at the moment. He is the 4th ranked golfer in the world, yet he is priced as the 8th ranked golfer in the field. Rose rates out well, ranking in the top-10 in Par-4 gained and putting on Bermuda. Rose has a house in Florida and his preferred surface is Bermuda. His ball-striking has been up and down since the switch to Honma, but he is still a class ball striker and I expect the course to fit his eye. I will be heavily overweight on Rose, who I love to play at Par-70 courses.

Bryson DeChambeau 8,800

The guy is a stud and he seems to be trending in the right direction. Yes, he missed the cut at The Open, but wind and unknowns like Royal Portrush are not his brand. Bryson is a Bermudagrass guy and like easier golf courses. This is not the easiest of courses but suits well for what Bryson excels at. I really like what I have seen in his last few tournaments. He is top-10 in strokes gained approach and putting, which are keys to his success. DeChambeau ranks 13th in my model, and at this price-tag / recent form I will be heavily overweight.

Jason Day 8,300

Day is too talented of a player for this price-tag. This course should set up well for the bomber / short game specialist. He has not been playing the best of golf recently, missing the cut at The Open, but you still have to respect his game. Day ranks in the Top-10 in the field in Approach and Putting. Day is a Bermudagrass specialist who will be looking to bounce back from a missed cut on a surface that he prefers.
