NFL FanDuel: Week 1 top plays (Early only!) Start with CMC
Got your Week 1 NFL FanDuel lineups all set and looking for a good reason to avoid tinkering with them? Make some more lineups on some smaller slates!! This article will focus on the top plays for the early only slate on Fanduel.
Welcome to FanSided Fantasy for the 2019 NFL DFS season. I have returned once again to bring you my top plays for the early only NFL FanDuel slate. If you are new we are glad to have you and we hope you check out our incredible amount of always free content. If you are a reader from last season welcome back! And to the few of you who reached out to see if was doing this article again, I am extremely humbled, and I hope we can have some similar success on the early slate this season!
There will be one slight difference this year, and it should be an upgrade as I will shift the primary focus away from cash games. I will still list my favorite cash plays, but I will also now mix in my top GPP targets as well. If you have read any of my PGA FanDuel articles over the last year or so, this will be structured exactly the same way. I will break my top plays down at each position, and one constant that will remain is a balanced cash game based sample lineup on the last slide.
For the newbies, NFL FanDuel cash games are simply the games in the lobby that are 50/50 or close to that to win. These are basically all of the games other than the tournaments, and guaranteed prize pool tournaments (GPP’s). Head-to-Head’s (H2H), 50/50, and double-ups would best summarize cash games.
We generally want to target volume from the skill positions and the safest combination of high-floor players we can possibly roster. For the best possible explanation between cash games and GPP’s, I would recommend this article which covers GPP strategy from fellow FanSided Fantasy staff writer “Thunder” Dan Palyo.
Without any further boring necessities, week one is finally here, so let’s find out who to target on this seven-game slate to start the long-awaited 2019 NFL season. Please click the slide below to continue.
