Welcome to this daily fantasy golf piece from FanSided Fantasy. Here you will find players to target on FanDuel, for this week’s Houston Open, taking place at the Golf Club of Houston – Tournament Course in Humble, Texas.

In this article, I will present to you some picks to consider from each price tier for daily fantasy golf on FanDuel. Some plays will be geared toward cash games, and some for GPP tournaments. Some, of course, will also technically qualify as both.

As we break each play down, I will be sure to specify which type of contests I am targeting that player in. I will give my top players to target from $11K up to the top salary, my top targets from the $10K-$11K range, and finally those from the $9-10K range.

After that will be my top value plays from the $8-9K range, along with a couple of GPP flyers to consider for tournament play if the slate calls for it. Last but certainly not least, I will end the article the ever-popular sample lineup we like to do here at FanSided Fantasy.

If you are ever curious as to how things worked out last week and so far this season, my picks along with the other top experts in the field are tracked at Daily Overlay.

Welp… If you played the sample lineup last week I apologize, as that was arguably my worst display of the year. It was a tough field, and I mentioned that it was one of the hardest weeks of the young season to get a good feel for.

If you took a good look at the field by now, I am guessing you think more of the same this week as we have arguably the worst field in the history of PGA DFS this week. Now I understand there have been some alternate events like the Barracuda or the Puerto Rico Open in which the fields were obviously less appealing, but as the main tournament on the PGA Tour this week, the Houston Open has zero golfers inside the top-30 of the OWGR.

However, I am not going to sit here and say it is a bad field, as it is definitely refreshing to give you some new names. Henrik Stenson highlights the field as the 37th ranked golfer in the field, and he will be joined by the 43rd ranked “never” Keegan Bradley as the top-ranked golfers here in Houston. For the first time in our DFS careers, this will be the first time I will be recommending you actually play Bradley, as he is criminally underpriced in this field.
