WWE Friday Night SmackDown preview, October 11: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the October 11, 2019 WWE Friday Night SmackDown debut on FOX.
After last week’s big debut on FOX, WWE turns its attention to the future of its roster. And the future includes the first of a two-night draft that takes place this Friday night.
The entire landscape around WWE will get turned upside down, as both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown will both see massive changes after the draft. And kicking things off will be a battle of former teammates to determine who gets the first pick, when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns square off in the ring.
For SmackDown, they have the full Raw roster at their disposal. Fansided has also posted the draft pool, and what night they will be available. All champions, tag teams, and superstars will be up for grabs.
Some of the biggest names considered for the draft include Aleister Black, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, and now 10-time SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. It’s interesting to note that with the addition of the NXT brand to the USA Network, their roster will not be included in the draft. Plus, they also saw the recent shocking return of Finn Balor to the brand, so they have their own suprises apparently well-planned to stay relevant outside of the draft.
In addition to the pending suprrises of Friday night, there will also be some celebrity involvement as well. For the first time, several members of the FOX Sports family will be in attendance to announce each draft pick.
Kevin Burkhardt and Frank Thomas take a break from the MLB playoffs, as will the FOX NFL Sunday crew of Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Tony Gonzalez. These are just a few of the names that will be on hand to celebrate the new era of the WWE roster.

Adding to all these festivities, we’ll get a rematch from Hell In A Cell for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Charlotte Flair, who is now a 10-time champion, will give Bayley a rematch for the title this week. Can The Queen continue her reign, or will Bayley find a way to recapture the gold?
Just for fun, keep an eye out for the WWE 24/7 Championship. One FOX analyst has already won the championship already, so don’t be surprised if we see one or two (or 20) title changes as the night progresses. Either way, it’s a big couple of nights for WWE coming up, as we say goodbye to the Wild Card rule.
