Hereās theĀ recap of all the high-flying action you may have missed fromĀ this weekās episode of 205 Live. Watch the cruiserweights every Friday night at 10 PM.
Originally scheduled to be taped in Manchester, England, it was decided thatĀ 205 LiveĀ would air live from Full Sail University instead. NXT has produced shows from there for several years and many fans of the purple brand have wanted the show filmed there as well. They feel like the Full Sail crowd would be more responsive to the āMost Exciting Hour on Televisionā than the post-SmackDownĀ crowd is.
The Brian Kendrick vs. Mansoor
Mansoor made his 205 Live debut against veteran The Brian Kendrick. In recent weeks, Kendrick has been angry about his perceived disrespect from the locker room. He takes out his frustration on Mansoor, whom he humbles early on.
Although Mansoor gets in some offense, Kendrick spends a lot of time working his arm. This seems to light a fire in Mansoor who chops his opponent several times before he hits a clothesline, enzuiguri and falcon arrow (which Kendrick kicks outs from). Mansoor reverses the Sliced Bread No. 2, but it isnāt enough to put him away. Kendrick fought back and got Mansoor in the Captainās Hook, but he was able to reverse it to get the win.
Tony Nese vs. Angel Garza
This past Wednesday on NXT, Tony Nese faced Angel Garza to become the No.1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. The match was shown during 205 Live in its entirety. You can read the recap here.

Lio Rush will face Garza for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship next Wednesday on NXT.
Lio Rush vs. Raul Mendoza
This match was requested by both Superstars. Mendoza comes out firing on all cylinders against the champion. He yells that heās going to be the next champion which stirs something in Rush who puts out some of his own offense. Mendoza quickly regains control and shows off his strength as he twists and turns Rushās body.

With Mendoza controlling so much of the match, Aiden English wonders aloud if Rush is looking past tonight to his title defense next week. Rush his a stunner after bouncing off the second rope. The two trade and match each otherās offense. Rush quickly defeats Mendoza in a match that deserved more time than they were given.
Do you think Lio Rush will retain his NXT Cruiserweight title next week? Would you like 205 Live to regularly air live from Full Sail? Let us know in the comments.
