If you Google “NBA stats single-game shot charts”, as I did while researching for this article, the first result is this exact shot chart from this exact game. Of the 273,000+ shot charts on nba.com, this is the first to come up. I have no idea why. As far as I can tell, not a single human being on the planet seems to care about this game, which the Knicks won 122-98, in any meaningful way. And yet, there it is.
