Saturday Night Live returns with another At-Home episode. No host or musical guest has been announced yet.

NBC announced Thursday, April 23 that Saturday Night Live would return once again with an “at-home” episode. No longer “live from from New York,” the iconic sketch show has turned to Zoom and pre-recorded sketches to bring some joy and humor to Saturday night as the cast, crew and viewers social-distance at home across the country.

The first “SNL at Home” episode was met with mixed reviews. Tom Hanks was the surprise host and his monologue was a hit but the sketches themselves consider a tad hit or miss as the cast tried to balance the humor they are known for with the TikTok energy of recording at home on devices.

Saturday Night Live has not announced a host or a musical guest for the April 25 “At Home” episode, though no doubt they have a special guest in store. Lorne Michaels’ Rolodex is deep and celebrities have never been more available.
