Saturday Night Live aired its second “At Home” episode of the pandemic with Brad Pitt taking over intro duties from Tom Hanks.

When the coronavirus pandemic led to production shut-downs and social distancing measures across the country, Saturday Night Live’s 45th season went on hiatus. On April 11, however, NBC and the cast and crew of the legendary sketch show pooled their resources and technology to put together an “At Home” episode.

Brad Pitt took “host” duties from Tom Hanks, who did what amounted to the monologue at the first SNL at Home.

Pitt starred in a cold open as Dr. Fauci doing damage control on Trump’s press conferences, providing commentary and instruction on the coronavirus, as well as providing thanks to all the older women who have sent him “supportive, inspiring and sometimes graphic” emails.

In an added moment of sentimentality, Pitt took off his wig and gave a heartfelt thanks to the real Dr. Fauci, healthcare and service workers:

"Thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time, and thank you to the medial workers, first responders and their families for being on the front line. And now, live, kind of, from all across America, it’s Saturday night!"
