The NFL is taking the 2021 Pro Bowl to its newest market: Las Vegas. The all-star game will be played Jan. 31, 2021 at the Raiders’ new Allegiant Stadium.

Despite a setback with this year’s draft, the NFL is wasting no time adding Las Vegas into its rotation of markets for major league events. The 2021 Pro Bowl will be heading to Las Vegas, new home of the Raiders, the league announced on Tuesday.

The game will be played at the Las Vegas Raiders’ new Allegiant Stadium on Jan. 31, 2021.

Vegas was supposed to host the 2020 Draft, before it was taken remote and online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We look forward to partnering with the Raiders and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to bring the excitement of Pro Bowl week to our Las Vegas fans and community for the first time,” said Peter O’Reilly, the league’s EVP of club business and league events, in a statement.

The Pro Bowl – the league’s end-of-season all-star game – has been held in Orlando, Fl. the past four years. Before that the game moved around some, though it was primarily held in Hawaii.

The Raiders are moving to Las Vegas from Oakland for the 2021 season. The Silver and Black will be playing at the brand new 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium.

“The Raiders welcome the NFL Pro Bowl to Allegiant Stadium and to Las Vegas, the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World,” Raiders president Marc Badain said, via NFL.com. “Pro Bowl week is a celebration of the best the NFL has to offer and there is no better place than Las Vegas to celebrate and honor the league’s biggest stars. The NFL, the LVCVA and the Raiders look forward to a world class event that will set the standard for future NFL events in Las Vegas.”
