Manchester City vs. Arsenal live stream: Watch Premier League online
Manchester City host Arsenal Wednesday at the Etihad in their first game back from the break. Here’s all the info you need to watch the Premier League online.
The Premier League is back from its coronavirus pandemic hiatus on Wednesday, with a marquee matchup highlighting the league’s return. On Wednesday, second-place Manchester City host ninth-place Arsenal at the Etihad.
Manchester City return to play sitting second in the table on 57 points, having scored more goals that anyone else in the league. While Manchester City are mathematically still in the title race, City have little shot of catching presumptive-champions Liverpool. After winning back-to-back Premier League titles the past two seasons, City are 25 points back of Liverpool at this point (despite a game in hand). While City have likely locked up a Champions League spot, they do have Leicester City hot on their heels to finish second, the Foxes just four points back.
Arsenal are one of the teams with the most to play for over their final 10 matches. The Gunners – with ambitions of European competition – have slipped all the way to midtable. Arsenal sit ninth on 40 points, eight points outside of the top four. If they can’t secure a Europa League spot, let alone Champions League competition, Arsenal may be forced to sell players like top goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
City are 9-2-2 at home, while Arsenal have been poor on the road, going 2-8-3 on their travels.
Man City beat Arsenal, 3-0, in their previous meeting this season.
