Watch Seniesa Estrada absolutely flatten her opponent in mere seconds
Seniesa Estrada scores one of women’s boxing’s fastest KO victories.
If you didn’t have your eyes locked in on DAZN when Seniesa Estrada vs. Miranda Adkins was taking place, you missed the entire fight — and with that, perhaps one of the quickest bouts in the entire history of women’s boxing, if not the sport altogether.
Estrada needed just seven seconds to knock her opponent unconscious.
Seniesa Estrada knocks out Miranda Adkins in seven seconds
Immediately as the bell sounded, Estrada came right towards her opponent with focus. Estrada landed a three-punch combination that rocked Adkins, followed by a four-punch combo that quickly dropped Adkins to the mat.
In fact, the first left that connected in the second combination was the one that knocked Adkins out upon closer inspection.
With the win, Estrada retained the WBC Silver female light flyweight title and improved to 19-0 with eight knockouts.
This was just Adkin’s sixth professional bout, having won her previous five with all coming by knockout.
The ages and records between the two ladies played part of a reason for the boxing community’s outrage of this mismatch being booked in the aftermath of Adkins getting knocked out.
This July 24 Golden Boy Boxing card, headlined by Vergil Ortiz Jr., was Golden Boy and DAZN’s first card since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
