Round 8

Best: Josh Allen – ADP 90 (8.06)

I was shocked when I saw Allen’s 90th overall ADP as the tenth quarterback off the board. He finished as the QB6 last year and the Bills added a great receiver in Stefon Diggs over the offseason. Diggs should really help the receiving core who finished 2nd in drops last year. Allen’s rushing floor makes him a lock to finish as a QB1 and he has a good chance to finish top-5 this year. Don’t draft a non-mobile quarterback over him.

Other Contenders: Brandin Cooks

Worst: Will Fuller – ADP 86 (8.02)

I wrote about why you should draft Brandin Cooks over Will Fuller, and I don’t think that it’s particularly close. Fuller is very injury prone and the definition of a boom-bust player. He’ll have a few great games, but most of the time he’ll either be injured or perform badly. These weeks can happen at any time and you’ll rarely start him when you need to. There are better options to draft in the eighth round at every skill position than Will Fuller.

Other Contenders: Philip Lindsey
