LeBron James wears important Breonna Taylor message to NBA Playoffs
LeBron James is making quite the fashion statement on Tuesday as he’s been spotted wearing a t-shirt and hat in support of the arrest of the officers involved in the killing of Breonna Taylor. His shirt reads “By any means” which is a slogan used by protestors asking for the arrests to be made. He’s also wearing a hat which is a play on Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan made famous during his election.
James’ version reads “Make America arrest the cops who murdered Breonna Taylor”

Lebron James has been outspoken about his support of the cause.
“We want the cops arrested who committed that crime,” James said via a Zoom call (h/t Sports Illustrated) “Obviously in the state of Kentucky, what’s going down there, I know a lot of people are feeling the same. And us as the NBA, and us as the players, and me as one of the leaders of this league, I want her family to know and I want the state of Kentucky to know that we feel for it and we want justice. That’s what it’s all about. What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong. And this is a wrong situation that’s going on in my eyes and in a lot of other eyes.”
Taylor, a 26-year-old, Black EMT, was killed when undercover police entered her home serving a no-knock warrant. Her boyfriend opened fire on the men who he believed were robbing them as they had not announced themselves as police, and Taylor was killed when the police responded with shots of their own.
At press time there have been no arrests made.
