Tobias Harris goes down with scary head injury in Game 4 (Video)

The Philadelphia 76ers’ season is on the brink of collapse, and they just lost a team leader in the process
Tobias Harris is the inarguable No. 2 behind Joel Embiid at the moment, especially with Ben Simmons lost due to injury and Al Horford disappearing in the NBA bubble. However, with their season on the line, Harris was upended while going for a rebound and violently hit his head on the hardwood. The result was quite stirring, with Harris not moving for several minutes and the 76ers medical staff attending to him in a state of panic.
Thankfully, Harris was able to walk off the court, but with such a traumatic injury his potential return seemed like a stretch…until it wasn’t. Harris’ legs were taken out from under him on the play, and there was blood involved in the immediate aftermath.
The 76ers’ future is as murky as ever
Brett Brown’s future is up in the air assuming Philadelphia doesn’t reach their ultimate goal, which season-over-season is to win an NBA Title. Whether he deserves the full blame or not, the onus of reaching those expectations is often placed on the head coach, and then the front office. Brown would be the first to go if Elton Brand and Co. feel some changes are necessary.
For now, Harris and Embiid are proving to a rabid fanbase that they aren’t taking a sweep lightly. At the very least, Harris’ return (after being cleared of a concussion, of course) is something positive to take into what’s sure to be a very eventful offseason.
