Bam Adebayo made one of the best blocks in NBA playoff history, and Twitter went wild
Bam Adebayo blocked Jayson Tatum at the summit, but it’s unlikely he’ll have the same success with his Twitter page. At this point, Adebayo ought to throw his phone out of the NBA Bubble and get a new one, as it’s bound to blow up with friends, family and most importantly Twitter memes.
The former Kentucky star saved Game 1 for the Heat, and completed one of the more wild comebacks this postseason. The Eastern Conference Finals is expected to be closely-contested, but the opener delivered a little more than that.

This was after Jimmy Butler drove to the rim and finished an and-one to give the Heat the lead. If there’s ever a time Butler is happy to be overshadowed, it’s now.
Twitter went wild after Adebayo’s game-winning block
Do you realize the strength you need to have to do this to anyone - let alone Tatum???

Tatum ought to think twice before taking the ball to the rim with that kind of authority.

What did you yell the moment Bam blocked Tatum? I woke up my kids screaming, “Gimme dat!!!” 😂

Thank goodness I don’t have kids. My neighbors weren’t so lucky.

As good a crunch-time block as you'll ever see
Imagine ever cutting a man capable of THAT.

Tatum is too talented for that, but I hope he enjoys the reverse poster.

It looks like the majority of the NBA reacted like I did.

Why’d you have to do Tatum’s son like that? He’s only a child!
Adebayo’s Twitter reach is a great sign for the rest of this series and postseason as a whole. I’d expect nothing less from NBA Twitter. You hold no punches.
