James Caan poked fun at excited Browns fans.

The Cleveland Browns picked up an exciting 35-30 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and fans around the country were thrilled. Browns fans know how rare wins are in general given the recent state of the team.

That meant it was a fun Friday at work for Browns Backers nationwide. One happens to be the assistant to legendary actor James Caan. He decided to poke fun at the excitement on Twitter.

James Caan takes on all of Cleveland

This is a bit harsh. Caan calls out the entire city of Cleveland before even making fun of the Browns. He seems to be channeling his character from Elf, well at least from the first half of the movie, to throw this uncalled for hate down upon Browns fans.

Caan is now 80 years old and his Godfather days are long past. But he still has nearly 25,000 followers on Twitter and his tweet began to blow up in the world of Browns Twitter. Will this change anyone’s opinion on his acting? Probably not, but Browns fans can add a new and unexpected hater to the list.

Browns fans are allowed to get excited over one win. The team has not had a winning record since 2007 and there was the infamous stretch of 1-31 from 2016-2017. What does Caan have against being excited?

Browns must focus on the run. dark. Next

The best part of his tweet comes at the end. “End of tweet.” He was either telling someone to type this or he believes this is how one ends a tweet. Just another wrinkle to a fun and bizarre story as clearly the Browns are living rent-free in the actor’s head.
