CeeDee Lamb catches first career touchdown vs Browns (Video)

CeeDee Lamb found the end zone for his first career touchdown.
CeeDee Lamb has recorded 230 yards receiving in his first three games with the Dallas Cowboys, and he has been a huge reason why the Cowboys have the league’s best offense despite the loss of La’El Collins at right tackle. Lamb had yet to find the end zone, but it took all of one quarter today to change that.
Lamb scored the first touchdown in his young pro career, torching the Browns and ending on the receiving end of a Dak Prescott bomb to tie the game at 7-7 in Dallas. Prescott, who is coming off a nail-biting loss against the Seattle Seahawks, has started off the game by completing 10 of his first 11 passes, including three to Lamb.
CeeDee Lamb scored the first of many touchdowns in the NFL
While many thought that the former Oklahoma star was the best receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft, Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy went before him. That slide landed him in Dallas at pick No. 17, and he has hit the ground running in the pros.
Mike McCarthy hasn’t tried to hide Lamb behind veterans Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup on the depth chart, and the former Oklahoma star has wasted no time proving that he belongs in this league. Against a Cleveland secondary that has been bailing water since Grant Delpit’s season-ending injury, look for Lamb, Prescott, and Kellen Moore to take a few more deep shots over the course of this game.
The selection of Lamb might’ve been controversial given the likes of Cooper already at wide receiver for Dallas, but he is proving right away that be can be a featured option in this passing attack. He might not be done against a questionable Cleveland secondary.
