Come Sunday, NFL fans are ready for a full schedule of games to arrive, with one AFC battle in particular ready to provide plenty of drama and intrigue. We’re of course talking about the Week 5 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders.

While Raiders signal-caller Derek Carr admitted this isn’t much of a rivalry anymore because of Kansas City’s dominance, you better believe he’ll be ready to do everything he can to try and upset the reigning Super Bowl champs. Will he be able to get the job done?

What to watch for in the Chiefs vs. Raiders battle

After Carr’s comments earlier this week, it’ll surely be on him to try and change the narrative. Fortunately for him and the Raiders, they’re no strangers to pulling off a head-turning win this season, as they beat the Saints and Drew Brees in Week 2.

On the season, Carr has been stellar, throwing for 1,095 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions, leading Las Vegas to a 2-2 record. He’ll have to play near perfect football on Sunday to try and take down the mighty Chiefs, who are a perfect 4-0 on the year behind the strong play of Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and others.
