What to watch for in Rams vs Washington

Haskins’ struggles to throw deep and read defenses might’ve given Rivera a reason to bench him, but Allen has his own set of problems, as getting picked off 16 times and losing three fumbles in 12 starts with the Carolina Panthers last year shows Allen has a bit of a ball security issue. Against an opportunistic Rams defense, that could be problematic.

Getting off to a fast start is going to be imperative for Washington, as Sean McVay doesn’t let teams off the mat very often. In his time as Rams head coach, McVay has never lost a game after he entered halftime with the lead, which isn’t going to be a good sign for Washington if they fall behind in this game.
