Andy Dalton threw an interception after the refs appeared to miss an obvious pass interference call.

The Dallas Cowboys are getting no breaks in 2020. Dak Prescott is out, the offensive line is in shambles, and the defense appears to be historically bad. Andy Dalton is trying to steady the ship Monday night and is doing so on a night when Ezekiel Elliott opened the game with two fumbles.

Dalton got the offense into a tiny bit of a rhythm early in the third quarter, only for that to be stopped suddenly with an interception. However, it appeared obvious the Arizona Cardinals got away with pass interference. Everyone in the stadium and at home, aside from the referees themselves, could see that.

Cowboys getting no luck in another painful game

So CeeDee Lamb got tackled by Dre Kirkpatrick, who went on to intercept the pass. A penalty flag never came and the Cardinals defense was credited with another forced turnover on the night.

Few fans outside of Dallas are going to have sympathy for any Cowboys team. But this is just a blatant disregard for the rules and is frustrating to see. This could happen to any team and there has to be some accountability for these missed calls.

Even ESPN rules analyst John Parry said on the broadcast it was clearly a penalty. It is rare to hear a former official disagree with the refs on the field and this call was bad enough to where he had no choice.

dark. Next. NFL fans are trolling Ezekiel Elliott for his fumble issues

The turnover gave the ball back to Kyler Murray and the dynamic quarterback capped off another touchdown drive by running the ball into the end zone himself to make it 28-3. The remainder of the game for Dalton and the Cowboys may just be about finding any cohesion on offense.
