The Los Angeles Dodgers are likely to move on from several notable players in free agency this offseason.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are still basking in the glory of being World Series champions. The organization should be a contender for years to come and even more elite talent could be heading to SoCal once free agency begins.

The team also has some internal decisions to make on their own free agents. Justin Turner is the biggest name to discuss and the decision was already on the table before his controversial return to the field following a positive COVID-19 test. Let’s take a look at three players who may not be wearing a Dodgers uniform in 2021.

3. Joc Pederson

Joc Pederson barely stayed with the team in 2020. He was supposed to be traded to the Los Angeles Angels, only for that trade to fall through once the initial Mookie Betts deal with Boston was off. The Angels were not happy and Pederson did not have to make the short move to Anaheim.

He debuted with the team in 2014 and was even an All-Star in his first full season back in 2015. The once everyday outfielder saw his usual playing time reduced in 2020. Having a DH in the National League allowed him to play more than he would have otherwise.

Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger hold down two everyday spots in the outfield. That is not changing anytime soon. A.J. Pollock is also making $18 million in 2021 and the Dodgers could even go out and acquire another All-Star.

There is just no room for the player who posted a -0.4 WAR in 2020 as part of an otherwise star-studded outfield.
