Former Florida Gator quarterback Feleipe Franks was booed by his former fans while taking the field as an Arkansas Razorback. He may have the last laugh though.

Feleipe Franks spent his first three years of college starting under center for the Florida Gators, in which his performance was met with a mixed bag by diehards. However, his junior year was cut short after breaking his ankle in Florida’s fourth game of the season. After that campaign, Franks announced he’d be departing from the program, in which he transferred over to Arkansas, where he’s seen some grand success in his senior campaign.

On Saturday, Franks returned home to “The Swamp,” where he was greeted with the all-too-familiar boos. The quarterback made those jeers louder after he hit receiver Mike Woods for a 47-yard touchdown, and his pass was a total dime. In fact, after Woods scored, Franks pointed to the Florida sideline as if to say, “that was for you.”

Franks coming back to haunt Florida?

Prior to his homecoming at Florida, Franks has been putting up solid performances with the Razorbacks. Through the first six games of the season, Franks completed 67.2-percent of his passes for 1,428 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. Now, he got his 15th touchdown of the year against his former squad, which had to feel good.

As for Florida, it’s not all bad to see Franks light it up with the Razorbacks. You guys have Kyle Trask, you’ll be fine!
