Baker Mayfield won the game and the press conference.

Even though the Cleveland Browns didn’t solidify themselves as a playoff contender, grabbing the 10-7 victory over the Houston Texans helped them improve to 6-3. Part of their success came defensively, especially by star defensive end Myles Garrett.

Once again, the former No.1 pick dominated in the trenches, picking up six total tackles and half a sack. As one of the most feared pass rushers in the league, it’s clear that offensive tackles wonder how to prepare for him week in and week out.

For Baker Mayfield, maybe Lil Wayne can explain how Garrett continues to dominate week in and out. Does he move in silence like a famous Italian dish? How about Mayfield just describes it himself.

Garrett could be moving in silence against offensive linemen since few seem to know how to block him. This season alone, Garrett has tallied 31 total tackles, 14 quarterback hits and 9.5 sacks in nine games. Earlier this offseason, the Browns awarded the 24-year-old defensive end a massive five-year, $125 million contract extension.

Mayfield is certainly a great hype man, but his skills under center are concerning. Against one of the worst secondaries in the league, the third-year quarterback finished 12-of-20 for 132 yards and couldn’t find the end zone. In fact, it was Nick Chubb who scored the only Browns’ touchdown in his first game back from the injured reserve.

You can give Mayfield credit for being a true teammate in helping Garrett get hyped up. However, if the Browns want to contend as a true playoff contender, Mayfield will need to grab an “f” for finisher.
