Davante Adams puts Packers ahead with late touchdown grab (Video)

Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams found the end zone once again.
Things looked glum for the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter of their game against the 1-7 Jacksonville Jaguars.
Not only did they look ready to lose to sixth-round rookie Jake Luton in his second career start, but star wide receiver Davante Adams went to the medical tent with an ankle injury. Adams seems to have recovered from that injury in record time, as he returned to catching touchdowns from Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers took a late lead over Jacksonville as Adams found the end zone for the ninth time this season, giving Green Bay a 24-20 lead over the Jags. Adams has missed some games due to his health, but his nine touchdowns are now tied with Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill for the most in the league.

Davante Adams has feasted against Jacksonville’s secondary
Adams has eight catches for 66 yards, including his touchdown grab. While he did have an uncharacteristic fumble in this game, Adams clearly relished his chance to go up against a very young secondary led by a coordinator in Todd Wash that most of the Jacksonville fanbase wants to be booted out of the door.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling might’ve had the biggest day of any Packers receiver given his 78-yard touchdown catch in the early stages of the game, but it was Adams who Rodgers trusted time and time again when he absolutely needed a play to be made.
Win or lose, this is a concerning performance from the Packers, as they should’ve smashed Jacksonville by double-digits. However, Adams is doing everything he can to at least help them get one more check in the win column and prevent a completely calamitous afternoon that saw them lose to a one-win team.
