After throwing another terrible pick-six, Philadelphia Eagles fans are surely wondering just how much money the team is paying him for his poor play.

Things are off to another shaky start for Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles. On Sunday, the Eagles had the chance to take advantage of a Cleveland Browns blunder, but the opposite came true for Doug Pederson.

That’s because Wentz made a terrible decision, which ended with a pick-six for Cleveland’s defense. Following that play, Eagles fans are only going to be even more upset when they find out how much the team is paying him.

Carson Wentz’s Eagles contract is surely going to infuriate fans all over Philadelphia

Wentz is in the middle of his four-year, $128 million contract. Even more eye-opening, part of Wentz’s deal included nearly $108 million guaranteed, with him making $32 million per campaign. Thus far this season, Wentz has thrown for 2,091 yards, 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Those of course are not the numbers Eagles supporters want to see from a guy making $32 million a year.

With his poor play this season, the frustration surrounding Wentz keeps getting higher and higher. It’s led to the fan base calling for rookie Jalen Hurts to take over the offense. Thus far, Pederson has remained supportive of Wentz and has said multiple times he’s the leader of this team.

While Wentz has the support of his head coach, his play has been nothing short of a major disappointment this season. Fortunately for the Eagles, the NFC East has been a total dumpster fire, with Philadelphia in first place with its 3-5-1 record.

Despite that, time and time again, Wentz has not played up to his contract. If he wants to win back the City of Brotherly love, he’ll need to wake up and start playing like a former first-round pick as soon as possible.
