MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki is keeping his job breaking down NFL playoff odds after his debut last Sunday night.
Steve Kornacki became a household name during Election Week back in November. He was a wizard on the digital map and joined the select group of journalists who seem to know every single county in the country.
NBC decided to have some fun Sunday night by having Kornacki break down NFL playoff odds. He had his information down and it was a fun watch. The network has seen the positive feedback and announced he will be back on Sunday nights for the remainder of the season.

Steve Kornacki back on the board
If nothing else, this is just fun. Kornacki gets a chance to show off his board wizardry and NFL fans get to learn all the playoff scenarios in a matter of minutes. Those who watched last Sunday should have learned plenty, so having him back is useful as well.
How have playoff probabilities changed after today's games?

We've got @NBCNews' @SteveKornacki here to break it down for us on the big board! pic.twitter.com/5I4G2jbRTG
NFL playoff scenarios can get rather complicated when the races get tight. The AFC has 10 teams fighting for seven playoff spots and 12 teams are still realistically alive in the NFC. That is a lot to keep track of and a few minutes of Kornacki on the board can help make everything more clear.
This news being fun has nothing to do with one’s political views. All this is about is taking someone who did a good job during a hectic time and having him bring his talents to the NFL world. Who doesn’t want a convoluted playoff picture broken down for them?
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills are set for a showdown Sunday night with huge playoff implications for both teams and for the entire AFC playoff picture. Kornacki will be there to break it all down and that is a good thing for fans.
