Watch Nikola Jokic throw a physics-defying halfcourt bounce-pass

Nikola Jokic continues to defy the laws of physics as the Denver Nuggets’ superstar.
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic might be the best passer to play in the Mile High City since arguably John Elway and definitely since Peyton Manning.
On Tuesday night’s home game vs. the division rival Minnesota Timberwolves, Jokic gave us another glimpse of why he is the best passing big man in NBA history. Jokic was able to thread the needle three-quarters the length of the court to find forward JaMychal Green on a ridiculous bounce-pass to set up a marvelous transition slam. Denver went on to beat Minnesota, 123-116.
How good can the Denver Nuggets be this season?
Though getting to the Western Conference Finals appears to be this up-and-coming team’s definite ceiling, Denver needs to figure some things out fast. Jokic and wing Jamal Murray may be stars in this league, but the Nuggets are only 3-4 on the young 2020-21 NBA season. While they are only 2.5 games back of first place in the West, they are only one game better than 15th place.
Yes, it is only a seven-game sample size, but the Nuggets came into the season as a lock to make the postseason out of the Western Conference. As it will be like last year, as many as 12 or 13 teams will be semi-realistically vying for one of these eight playoff spots out West. Simply put, Denver is too talented to be anything short of a top-five seed in the Western Conference this year.
As long as Jokic completes passes like this, he will have the Denver Broncos’ undivided attention.
