Andy Reid hilariously shared during a radio show what his wife and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes have in common. 

It’s been another year to remember for the Kansas City Chiefs, as the team went 14-2 during the regular season and holds the No. 1 seed entering the playoffs. As you might expect, Patrick Mahomes lived up to his massive new contract and put on a show for the team.

Head coach Andy Reid knows all too well how great Mahomes is under center, as his signal-caller has Kansas City as the favorite to repeat at Super Bowl champions. But, just how good is Mahomes? Reid answered that question in the best way possible.

Reid actually compared Mahomes to his wife during a recent radio show for everyone to enjoy? You better believe it.

“He makes you look good, I’ll tell ya,” Reid said of Mahomes. “That’s what I’ve always said about my wife. I mean, she made me look good, like I was a good recruiter. This guy does the same for you being a coach.”

Reid sure has a way with words, doesn’t he? It’s hard to argue with the fact that Mahomes makes his head coach look great, as the reigning Super Bowl MVP has been brilliant this fall and winter. During the regular season, Mahomes threw for 4,740 yards, 38 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

Whenever he has the ball in his hands, Mahomes is bound to create some magic for the Kansas City offense. Reid knows all about this, which is why he has no issue whatsoever showing him so much love. Mrs. Reid probably takes this as a compliment too. It’s probably not every day she’s compared to a $502 million man.
