Leonard Fournette is psychic for manifesting his Super Bowl glory back in 2014
Leonard Fournette now is a Super Bowl champion with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He predicted this way back in 2014 though.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only made history, but they also did it in style.
The franchise became the first team in NFL history to host a Super Bowl in their own backyard following the NFC victory over the Green Bay Packers. Thanks to home-field advantage, the Buccaneers held Patrick Mahomes to 270 passing yards and zero touchdowns in a 31-9 victory.
The 2020 Buccaneers are a story of redemption and second chances. Bruce Arians wanted another shot to win a Super Bowl as a head coach. Rob Gronkowski wanted a second chance to play with Tom Brady. Antonio Brown wanted a redemption tour as well.
All three can call themselves champions after the win. Another name that certainly deserves praise is Leonard Fournette, though maybe it’s best to call him by his new nickname.
For those who don’t know, it’s “Playoff Lenny” from now on.
Fournette seemed ready to be out of the NFL after three mixed seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Instead, he found himself teaming up with the GOAT for another Lombardi Trophy.

Maybe Fournette never found himself thinking he’d win one with Brady, but back in 2014, he predicted the future, stating he would one day be in the big game.
Fournette’s prediction has earned him a massive payday
The legend of Fournette began this postseason against Washington when Ronald Jones couldn’t play. From there, Arians elected to make him the feature back for the remainder of the postseason.

Most times, that would be annoying to see. This time, it played in the Buccaneers’ favor for the remainder of the postseason.
Fournette compiled 310 rushing yards, 148 receiving yards, 18 total catches and four total touchdowns. His 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter all but sealed Tampa Bay’s victory at home.
Once expected to be the next “it” running back coming out of LSU, Fournette has not lived up to that hype. He still can say that he played a vital role in Tampa Bay winning a title for the first time since 2003.
That, and he can predict the future, right?
