The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are right in the driver’s seat entering halftime.

For anyone out there watching Super Bowl LV, Tampa Bay and the Buccaneers are boomin.

Tom Brady has been on fire through the first half, throwing for 140 yards and connecting with three touchdowns. The first two landed in the hands of Rob Gronkowski. The third though went to a name that some thought wouldn’t be suiting up for the game.

Enter Antonio Brown. Enter halftime with the lead.

With six seconds remaining in the first half, Brady connected with AB for a quick one-yard touchdown. The throw itself was impressive, but the route from the former Pro Bowl wideout was peak Brown.

The Buccaneers now enter the second half with a 21-6 lead. The Chiefs will receive the ball to begin the second half.

Chiefs costly penalties played a role in the touchdown

Kansas City could have made it a bit tougher, but some controversial penalties led to the score. Bashaud Breeland was called for a costly pass interference on Mike Evans that cost the Chiefs 34 yards. In the end zone, Brady went for Evans again, but this time Tyrann Mathieu was called for the holding.

Was either ball catchable? Probably not. However, on the biggest stage of the biggest game, referees will call anything.

Brown always wanted to win a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Instead, he catches a touchdown from the G.O.A.T. with the Steelers former OC Bruce Arians now as his head coach.

Tampa Bay is now 30 minutes away from picking up their first Lombardi Trophy since 2003. Let’s see how this thing pans out.
