Tiger Woods was en route to meeting Drew Brees, Justin Herbert when he was involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
News broke early Tuesday revealing that golf legend, Tiger Woods, had been in a serious car accident. The car Woods was driving flipped and he was removed from the car using a prying tool and an ax, not the jaws of life as previously reported. He was rushed into surgery where he’s reportedly suffering from serious non-life-threatening leg injuries.
Now it’s been revealed where he was heading on Tuesday morning.
According to Shelley Smith of ESPN, Woods was on his way to play golf for a photoshoot with two top NFL quarterbacks, Drew Brees and Justin Herbert of the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.
No evidence of impairment in Tiger Woods crash
The police say Woods was conscious and there was no evidence of impairment. But it was said he was driving at a “relatively greater speed than normal.”
Woods suffered two leg fractures and a shattered ankle after undergoing surgery following the single-car accident in Los Angeles.
Neither Brees or Herbert have commented publicly since the accident.
