Throughout his recruitment, 5-star athlete Sam McCall has received recruiting attention from just about every powerhouse program in the nation. Well, he’s let everyone know that once he graduates from high school, he’ll be heading to Tallahassee to play his college ball.
5-star athlete Sam McCall has announced his verbal commitment to Florida State
This is no question a massive get for Florida State. Throughout his recruitment, the newest FSU verbal picked up additional offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Penn State, Virginia, West Virginia and many others.
The Florida State coaches had been on him for a while, though, and were able to show him that nothing will beat donning a Seminoles jersey at the next level. McCall is indeed ranked 5 stars and is the No. 5 athlete in the country, with the potential to play either safety or wide receiver once he gets on campus.
Norvell and his assistants now hold six pledges for 2022. McCall is not the only 5-star on the list, as heavily-recruited cornerback Travis Hunter will also play for the Seminoles down the road. Hunter is ranked the No. 2 cornerback in the country and the No. 4 player overall.
While 2022 players won’t be sending in their National Letters of Intent until next December at the earliest, FSU fans surely have plenty reason to be excited for the future. McCall committing to the program is incredible news for fans everywhere.
