Michigan fans roast Ohio State to a crisp for getting upset by Oral Roberts in March Madness
By Scott Rogust
Michigan fans had a field day watching rival Ohio State lose to No. 15 Oral Roberts in the Round of 64.
The first round of the NCAA Tournament is only a few hours old, and viewers already witnessed the first monumental upset. On Friday afternoon, the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes faced off against the No. 15 Oral Roberts Golden Eagles. Then March Madness brackets busted everywhere.
Many of those who filled out their brackets confidently believed Ohio State would make it to the Round of 32 at least. Well about that.
Oral Roberts managed to defeat Ohio State 75-72 in overtime to win their first NCAA Tournament game in 47 years. As if life could not be any worse for Ohio State fans who thought they would make a lengthy run in the tourney, Michigan Wolverines fans chimed in on social media.

Oral Roberts managed to force overtime after two Ohio State fouls resulted in four points from the free-throw line to tie things up at 64 points apiece. Forward Kevin Obanor set the tone early in overtime with two quick layups to give Oral Roberts a lead they would never look back from. With this win, they are the ninth No. 15 team to upset the No. 2 seed in NCAA Tournament history.
Ohio State forward E.J. Liddell managed to notch a double-double in the contest with 23 points (10-for-15 from field, 2-for-4 on free throws) and 13 rebounds, but it just was not enough. Even guard Duane Washington Jr. had a double-double of his own (18 points, 10 rebounds).
Michigan fans are living on cloud nine after they witnessed Ohio State eliminated them from the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. Let’s face it, anytime the Buckeyes lose, Wolverine fans have a smile from ear-to-ear. But, they better hope that No. 1 Michigan does not lose to No. 16 Texas Southern on Saturday. If they do, then Ohio State fans are going to dish it right back on Twitter.
